Me and my company ran a business event here and from my personal experience, everything was fabulous! Margo is an absolute star to work with in planning the event. She's very attentive, communicated efficiently and quickly throughout the whole process. On the night we had Kendra serve us...her the front of house and Margo made the whole experience seamless. We loved the menu. We ordered the scallops (we had a choice of between 3 or 4 scallops. I regrettably chose 3 and I honestly shouldve gone for 4 because they were absolutely DELICIOUS! If you ever go for the scallops, dont make the same mistake as me, please go for 4!), a cheese souffle for starters. We had the Short Ribs Bourguignon and Coq Au Van for mains. The short ribs was so rich and flavourful and the perfect size aswell - I highly recommend this! Then dessert was a chef's choice which was a cheesecake! We loved our experience here and would love to host another event here when we have the chance to go back to Minneapolis!

This was the first time I had been to Maison Margaux. I previously went to Berlin jazz club for an early evening show, and then made a reservation for after the show was possibly going to end. It ended up that I was about 30 minutes early, but they could seat me right away. The food taste, texture, and aroma is exceptional. I had the scallops ($25) and they were seared in a white wine sauce and maybe a cheese. Very succulent and a little browned. Delicious. The only ding I have is the price of $25, but if you are treating your spouse, it’s worth it. I also had the short rib (maybe $39). That was my preferred flavor and is a “good value” if there is one at Maison. There is (I don’t know the word in English) reduction of beef stock or au jus type sauce that makes the beef very tender while not too salty. I would definitely return for that. There is free bread service with whipped butter that is good. You might expect the bread to be what American baguettes are like with hard crust, but this was soft with a coating of flour. It didn’t taste like sourdough. The only other second ding is that Maison charges for refills of soda, which is very frustrating. There was a couple at the next table where the woman was visibly pregnant and they had a cappuccino and macchiato. I don’t know if she would have preferred Diet Coke. You do get still or sparkling water, so that makes it a little better. I will definitely return with someone who enjoys finer dining or have a larger party. The staff were hosting a wedding reception I believe.

Maison Margaux has become our go-to place to celebrate special occasions. The service has always been unparalleled to any restaurant we’ve been to - with lots of personal touches. Yesterday my husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary, and the staff made sure we had our favorite table in full view of the open kitchen, wrote a note, and a celebratory toast of champagne waiting for us. Several people stopped at our table to personally congratulate us. The food and drinks have always been on point. We love taking advantage of the “choose your own adventure” cocktails alongside favorites like the steak au poivre, which is consistently excellent. We keep returning to Maison Margaux because it feels like a true escape. We are always so well taken care of - amazing food and service, without any fussiness or pretentiousness.

Beautiful restaurant with many different rooms, exposed brick, both quiet areas and loud exciting areas. Service was great, never without a drink and very attentive to our needs. I got a St. Germain drink (they have 3 options) that was floral and it was awesome - even in a special glass! Started off with the endive salad - even my salad adverse husband loved it. Blue-cheesy but light. The sour dough bread is a highlight. It's complimentary and we got 2 helpings - my gluten sensitive husband can have it since it's from 150 year old starter. I ordered the short rib and it came with some veggies and a puree underneath - I licked the plate. My husband (gluten free sensitivity) got the steak au poivre, which came with peppercorns all across the top. My husband was not a fan - if he scraped off the peppercorns, then it was better, not great, but better. He really disliked it so much that he said maybe he's not a steak au poivre person. Also, wished a $58 steak came with something better than fries. Server asked if we needed steak sauce or bearnaise sauce - which we said sure, happened to be $8 extra! Roasted beets as a side were a super nice surprise - seasoned nicely with a little creme fraise. The chocolate soufflé was supposed to take 20 min, ended up taking 30 and we were 1 min late to our show at the Orpheum since we had to wait. The creme brule was perfection! We also did Valet for $17 on a Tuesday night (no street parking at 5:45pm) and it was fast and trustworthy. Our bill was $273 with tip. Overall it was pretty good food - I'm being picky with the fries, extra charge and when we asked if 1.5 hours would be enough for our meal, not happy that it took 2 hours and we were late to our show.

Wow! What a lovely, well appointed space! The service was impeccable (especially our server Patrick!)...never a dirty dish or empty glass of water for more than a few seconds, rare to find that attentiveness. The cocktails were fabulous. Most of the food was wonderful and flavorful, but a couple items at the table I wouldn't necesarrily write home about. People seem to comment on the pricing, but for this quality of a restaurant/experience, I thought it was approachable. Would definitely recommend making a stop here!

From the moment I arrived, Maison Margaux has been nothing short of wonderful. The service was warm and attentive, the food was absolutely delicious, and the people made me feel so welcome. They even provided me a space to pray Asr, which meant so much to me. The atmosphere, paired with the beautiful weather, made my day feel like a little slice of paradise. Everything about my experience was thoughtful and uplifting—I truly enjoyed every moment. I can’t wait to come back again soon. Thank you, Maison Margaux, for such a memorable and meaningful day.
